I just finished watching
Aladdin on Disney Channel. I remember playing the video game for Super Nintendo!! Does anyone else remember that? I decided to ressurect this thing. I went through a lot of journal/blog ideas and decided to go back with my original idea. :X All my creative/artsy crap will be here. My good friends can still find me at
nekoh. Let it begin!
I made a huuuuge dinner last night. I used the leftovers to make lunch bentos for my family. n_n It made me really happy to do something nice.

My mother's. I tried to make it triangle-y. She especially requested I make the pasta dish last night so I worked really hard, she liked it but I think I do better next time. ^_~
★ Diced yukon gold potatoes with mustard greens underneath and Greek tomato-y pasta topped with grated Parmesan.

Ray's/my stepdad's, I wanted to cheer him up because he isn't a very cheery person, lol.
★ Mustard greens, sliced/fanned out petite sirloin with Greek pasta beneath, grated Parmesan all on top and an olive smilie. n_n

MIIINE. All uniformed and neat, of course, lol.
★ Greek pasta topped with grated Parmesan, toothpicked olives (they were soooo good), mustard greens covered with sour cream, sliced petite sirloin and sliced Yukon potatoe with half the skins pulled off so it was 'striped.'
I made one for my brother but he was very grouchy and hungry so I just gave it to him. :X He's going to be my dummy for designs in the future though, haha. ;3
IngredientsGreens were canned and I microwave potatoes because I don't like wasting time? And I never measure, so this is the best I can do, lol.
Greek Tomatoy Pasta☆ Whole wheat pasta
☆ Greek vinaigrette (I use Kraft dressing)
☆ Canned tomato crushed up/sliced
☆ Bunches of thyme
☆ Diced onions
☆ Chopped black olives
☆ Fresh garlic browned in olive oil
Sirloin☆ Lightly coated with Papaya Enzyme (it's a great tenderizer), garlic powder and fresh ground pepper then seared in a grill pan first on high heat then reduced heat, put on a cover until well cooked- Ray likes everything WELL DONE or he won't eat it so I try to compromise.
☆ PAPAYA ENZYME: I don't know if you can get it powdered. I buy a bottle in the health aisle and grind it up with a mortar and pestle myself. It's violently orange and faintly tastes like sweetpapaya but on food you
never notice that. Don't add too much on meat or the texture will be 'messed up.' Add it to both sides and stab it with a fork. :D
